Barnardos received £670,000 in the early 1990s for a project dealing with "child prostitutes" in Bradford. In 2015 they go public claiming they warned police about specific grooming victims in Aylesbury in 2008. Between the early 1990s and 2011, a twenty year period in which Barnardos knew of these crimes and were receiving state funding, Barnardos never went public like this about the crimes.
